2014 Disney VISA Summer Offer

Travel Dates: June 15 – August 28, 2014

Walt Disney World has released a special discount for Disney VISA cardholders only where you can save up to 35% off of your room only reservation at select Walt Disney World resorts during the Summer travel dates listed above.

Percentage Savings:

  • Save 30% at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Boardwalk Inn, Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge (standard and pool view rooms only), Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian Resort
  • Save 20% at Disney’s Contemporary, Beach Club and Animal Kingdom Lodge (savanna and club level rooms only) Resorts
  • Save 30% at Disney’s Saratoga Springs, Old Key West and Boardwalk Villas
  • Save 20% at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, Beach Club Villas and the Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge,
  • Save 20% at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and the cabins at Fort Wilderness
  • Save 15% at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort
  • Save 10% at Disney’s All-Star Art of Animation Resort (Family Suite Rooms only)

This offer excludes Disney’s Art of Animation–The Little Mermaid Standard Room, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort–French Quarter, Disney’s All Star Movies, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Campsites and 3-Bedroom Villas.

In addition to the savings above, this offer has a few bonus perks if you stay longer:

  • Stay 6+ nights and receive an additional 5% off in addition to the discounts listed above
  • Purchase a 6 day or longer Magic Your Way park pass as part of the package, and get a day free!

This offer must be booked by June 6, 2014.

Guests can book either a room only reservation or a package reservation including tickets and dining plans, though only the room portion of the package will be discounted. The dining plans will be at full rate. Availability is extremely limited.

At this point, a Disney VISA is required to book this discount. You must pay your deposit at the time of booking with a Disney VISA card. We expect this discount to be released to the general public on Monday, March 17, 2014.

    Planning a trip for dec 15th to 22nd. Odds on a discount like the 2014 summer offer or free dining? We can apply the room only discount to existing package right?

      Josephine – I would say very good on a similar deal. I would fully expect a deal like this plus some package deal to be released for those dates, probably sometime in August or September. Free Dining is looking iffy for 2014, so the package deal may be something completely different.

    Keith:
    In your opinion if you had 2 six year olds, and a 3 year old which of the moderate resorts would you book? Something that has fun pools because I know the down time will be spent at the pools. We are already booked in August under the Intro to Disney with Memory Maker at the All Star Movies (my parents choice since they are going too and paying) but hoping to flip over to this deal and get a better hotel when it becomes released to the general public.

      Julie – I am a big fan of both Riverside and French Quarter, both very nice resorts and they have fun pools. I would lean towards Riverside for the pool and French Quarter for the resort in general.

    Will WDW have any summer discounts for people who do not have a disney visa card? Just wondering if i should go ahead and get the visa card or hold off until a later date?

    Amanda – As mentioned above, “We expect this discount to be released to the general public on Monday, March 17, 2014.” So yes, tomorrow it will be available to everyone.
