Do you think the Free Memory Maker offer will soon take the place of free dinning?

Kim – That is kind of the rumor going around at this point. Very strange they released this deal for historic free dining dates, and it would be kind of strange for something like free dining to follow this up, but not unprecedented. My guess is they are waiting to see how this deal does for September to decide if they release free dining or not.

We too are planning a trip in Sept. I am really hoping for the meal plan. Is it best to hold off and wait in hopes they will release the special or go ahead and book? Iv heard such mixed things and I am so confused!

Darcy – Book now, ASAP. This isn’t a bad discount, especially at the moderate and deluxe resorts. If a better deal comes along for your dates, you can always apply that deal and save some money. No reason to hold out, if this is the only deal and you let it expire, then you will end up paying a lot more. No reason to wait.

Dracy, We have already booked for Sept. and added the dining. If it does come out free we will apply that. If you do change your res. you will have to pay the prices for room and tickets as of that date. This is what happened to us before. If you don’t want to pay for the dining plan, don’t! The amount of food you get at counter service is enough for most people to share. Then take your own snacks and drinks along; I know it’s a pain but if you are looking to save money it is definitely worth it.

    Keith,
We are staying at port orleans riverside on 4-26-14 through 5-3-14 and currently have the 25% discount on our resort with the spring offer. Two adults, 3 kids. Could we also add the memory maker offer or is it one or another? Thanks!

Moriah – Nope. Disney limits you to using only one discount at a time, regardless of how many are available. You just need to compare the prices with the different discounts and choose the one that works best for you.

Thanks Keith, some reason the link will work but when I try to make reservation it says offer can not be found, guess I’ll need to call. Does this offer save anything off the room/tickets portion or is it just free memory maker? I have a pin code for 25% off can’t compare online since they are not working.

Al – What are your travel dates?

This discount does include a discount on the room and park passes, but we have found the Spring offer has been a better deal, which is basically the same offer as the PIN code you have.

Interested in P0lynesian for first week in December.
Are the buildings with the monorail/parking lot view any less expensive

Jeannine – The Polynesian has three “views”, standard (views of garden, parking lot or monorail), lagoon (views of Seven Seas Lagoon) and Theme Park (guaranteed view of Cinderella’s Castle). While the standard view rooms are less expensive, they are still going to be in the $300 – $600 per night range.
